Iran ready to hold meeting of Afghanistan's neighbors in Tehran

Tehran (IP) - Assistant to Iranian Foreign Minister announced Tehran's readiness to hold a meeting with Afghanistan's neighbors.

Iran PressIran news: "Yesterday's meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Pakistan is important and a roadmap for the future of relations between the two countries in all bilateral and regional fields," Rasoul Mousavi, Assistant to Iranian Foreign Minister, tweeted on Friday.

Mousavi added: "Iran welcomes the idea of the Pakistani Foreign Minister regarding the meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighbors and announces its readiness to hold it in Tehran."

 

Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi arrived in Tehran yesterday (Thursday) to meet with Iranian New Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
