Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Parliament convened on Wednesday to review the qualifications of the remaining proposed ministers of the new administration.

Iran PressIran news: The tenth open session of Iran's Parliament to review the qualifications of the ministers proposed by President Ebrahim Raisi began on Wednesday, chaired by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and attended by 222 MPs.

In today's first agenda, Ezzatollah Zarghami is defending his plans for the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts.

Next, Javad Oji, Ali Akbar Mehrabian and Hamid Sajjadi are the proposed ministers for the Ministry of Oil, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Sports and Youth, respectively, and the ministers' qualifications are to be examined today based on their names in alphabetical order.

President Ebrahim Raisi will also speak in defense of his cabinet, followed by a vote on the approval or disapproval of the proposed ministers.
