Kabul (IP) - A number of Afghans are still seeking to leave their country by gathering in front of some embassies in Kabul, including the Iranian embassy.

Iran PressAsia: According to an Iran Press reporter in Kabul, Afghans visit the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Kabul every day due to the fear of the Taliban and the future of their country.

Afghans go to the consular section of embassies in Kabul while no license is currently being issued for them.

Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid stressed that the Taliban would provide security for the Afghan people and called on them to live their normal life.

Seven days after the takeover of Afghanistan’s capital by the Taliban, thousands of Afghans are still desperately wandering around and inside Hamid Karzai International Airport in an attempt to leave the country.
