Iran Calls for UNSC Urgent Action on Afghanistan’s Crisis

UN (IP) - Iran’s UN Ambassador, Amir Saeid Iravani, urged the international community to step up its response to Afghanistan’s worsening humanitarian crisis, frozen assets, and security threats. Speaking at the UN Security Council, he emphasized the need for sustained support, regional cooperation, and the protection of Afghan women’s rights.
