Iran Press/ Iran news: The Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People's Republic of China discussed ways to develop relations between the two countries on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
In his message to the Chinese Foreign Minister on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two countries, Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed: "The signing of a comprehensive strategic plan confirms the long-term view of Iran and China on bilateral relations."
In his message, the Iranian Foreign Minister added: "I am very pleased that on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Iran and China; we are witnessing a wealth of fruitful achievements that have provided a great platform for deepening cooperation between the two countries at bilateral, regional and international levels.
Zarif also stressed in the message: "I believe that in the sixth decade of relations, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries can strengthen the existing consultative mechanisms aimed at improving relations, close and comprehensive consultation on regional and international issues in order to strengthen peace and put global stability on the agenda."
Wang Yi, a member of the State Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, in his message to Mohammad Javad Zarif, while congratulating on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of political relations, stated: "Sino-Iranian relations have enjoyed continuity, progress, and development in the past fifty years since its establishment."
The Chinese Foreign Minister added that the two countries, while continuously deepening political trust and enriching cooperation in various fields, have worked closely and coordinated in international and regional affairs, and helped each other in maintaining unity and cohesion during the confrontation with the coronavirus, and in this regard, the friendship between the two nations has deepened.
