Americans freeze release of 10 prisoners: Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister tweeted that the release of 10 prisoners, including Anoosheh Ashoori, was concluded weeks ago. Still, your friends in DC froze it, addressing the UK Foreign Minister Dominic Raab.

Iran PressIran news: "On the 4th anniversary of Anoosheh Ashoori’s detention, I call on Iran in the strongest possible terms to free Anoosheh, and all our dual nationals arbitrarily detained, so they can be reunited with their families. Their ongoing detention is totally unjustified," The UK. Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs had earlier tweeted.

In response to the British foreign minister, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi tweeted, "You know better than anybody else that deal for the release of 10 prisoners inclding Anoosheh Ashoori was concluded weeks ago but your friends in DC froze it. Ashoori and 9 more are taken hostage by the US for political goals. Hope you'll explain this to your own people."
