UAE replaces China in imports to Iran

Tehran (IP) - The Head of Iran Export Confederation said: "Neighboring countries have been less affected by sanctions due to historical connections, and trade with them going on."

Iran PressIran news: The head of the Iranian Export Confederation, Mohammad Lahouti, referring to the 65% increase in exports and 32% of imports in the first quarter of this year (starting from March 20), said: "In the first four months of the year, the UAE replaced China as the country's first import spot."

In the first four months of this year, 50 million and 800 thousand tons of goods worth 29 billion dollars were traded between Iran and different countries.

Of this amount, 38 million and 300 thousand tons of non-oil goods (14 billion and 300 million dollars) were exported, and 12 million and 500,000 tons of goods (14 billion and 500 million dollars) were imported.
