Tehran (IP) - The Guardian Council spokesman stressed that the OPEC secretary-general meeting with Iran's Guardian Council secretary on August 5, 2021 was really fruitful.

Iran PressIran news: In response to Iran Press on the OPEC Secretary General's response regarding coordinating to return Iran's oil to export markets once the country is relieved of sanctions, Hadi Tahan Nazif, the  Guardian Council Spokesman, highlighted that various approaches, challenges, sanctions, and mutual cooperation were discussed in the meeting between the Guardian Council Secretary, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati and Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, OPEC Secretary-General.

Both Barkindo and Ayatollah Jannati also stressed the lifting of the US anti-Iran sanctions, selling of Iran's oil as well as its exporting.

Speaking to Iran Press, Tahan Nazif asserted that oil selling policy is the government's defined duty, but all organizations try to help the government to do so.

Attending his first press conference, Tahan Nazif pointed out that the Iran- Brazil draft of the extradition treaty and draft agreement on mutual legal assistance in civil matters as well as the Iran-Afghanistan draft on international railway relations were sent to the Expediency Council; they have not yet been approved, though.

Regarding the protection of Iranian users' rights at cyberspace plan, the Guardian Council Spokesman, Hadi Tahan Nazif said: "Nothing has been done or approved yet, and protecting Iranians' rights is our priority."
