Iran Press/ Europe: Representative of Iran to International Organizations in Vienna, Kazem Gharibabadi, announced the president's written response to the congratulatory message of the Secretary-General of OPEC, adding that the President wished success to the Secretary-General and his colleagues.
Last July, OPEC Secretary-General Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo sent a message congratulating the Iranian president on his election.
Referring to Iran's high position in OPEC, Barkindo also expressed his deep feelings for the great people of Iran and wrote: "The people of your country are respected and admired all over the world for their rich culture, heritage and traditions."
