Iran Press/ Iran news: Ebrahim Raisi, in a meeting with Vladimir Andrichenko, referred to the vast capacities available in the two countries, saying: "It is necessary to activate all the capacities in the bilateral relations between Iran and Belarus to make changes."
Emphasizing the holding of a joint commission for cooperation between the two countries, the President stated: "Undoubtedly, there are many capacities in Iran and Belarus that can be used for the benefit of both nations."
Raisi added: "Sanctions cannot halt the path of development and friendly cooperation between countries. The United States thinks that sanctions can hinder the progress of nations, but it is very wrong, and Iran, with the cooperation of its friendly countries, can strengthen the path of progress and by doing so, we will make the US regret its wrongdoings."
Referring to Raisi's speech at the Presidential inauguration, Vladimir Andrichenko said: "In this speech, your firm determination for the rapid development and progress of your country was revealed to everyone, and Belarus would be on the side of Iran in this direction."
"Belarus is seeking to establish a comprehensive relationship with Iran," he added.
