Ahvaz (IP) - Manager of Public Relations of Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone in Khuzestan Province, southwest of Iran, said the warehouse of chemical waste of Hamour Company located in Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone caught fire.

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press on Tuesday night, Mohsen Adibi elaborated on the published news about the explosion in Mahshahr Petrochemical, saying: "Yesterday, following an announcement made through the fire control room, the chemical waste warehouse of Hamour Company, located in the Mahshahr special economic site, caught fire."

The Public Relations Manager of Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone said: "Following the announcement of this incident, firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene and controlled the fire as soon as possible. Fortunately, there have been no casualties, and experts are investigating the cause of the accident."

Adibi added that Hamour Company, located in site number one of Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone, operates in manufacturing metal industries.
