OPEC SG. to participate president's swearing-in ceremony in Tehran

Tehran (IP) - The Iranian ambassador to Nigeria announced the visit of Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to Tehran to attend the inauguration of the new President.

Iran PressIran news: "I had a friendly and constructive meeting with Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, the Nigerian Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Mohammad Ali Alibak," Iran's ambassador to Nigeria, wrote on Twitter, according to IRNA.

He said that the Secretary-General of OPEC is going to Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of the President-elect, adding that the Secretary-General of OPEC thanked and appreciated the constructive role of the country in the decisions of this organization.

The inauguration ceremony of Ebrahim Raisi, the newly-elected President of Iran, will be held on Thursday evening in the presence of domestic and foreign guests in the parliament.
