Iran COVID-19 death toll: 366 patients succumb to death in 24 hours

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 366 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 90,996.

Iran PressIran news: According to the latest data on August 1, 2021, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 3,903,519, of which 3,385,195 have recovered. Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 32,511 cases, out of whom 3,483 patients were hospitalized.

5,539 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 25,978,632 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 285 cities are red, 110 are orange, and 53 are yellow zones.

So far, 9,925,603 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 2,741,979 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 12,667,582 doses.
