Iran, Austria stress more judicial, human rights cooperation

Austria (IP) - Deputy Secretary of Iran's High Council for Human Rights, and a Member of the Provincial Government of Lower Austria emphasized the expansion of judicial and human rights cooperation.

Iran PressEurope: Member of the Provincial Government of Lower Austria Martin Eichinger and the First Secretary of Austrian Embassy in Iran Barbara Grosse attended Iran’s High Council for Human Rights office on Wednesday to meet with Majid Tafreshi.

During the meeting, the Austrian side presented a report on the opening of a joint Austrian-Iranian scientific and research center on cancer treatment using the highest scientific methods and in cooperation with the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.

As an EU member, Tafreshi considered Austria a leading country in establishing relations based on rationality and mutual respect with Iran.
