Iran Press/ Europe: During the meeting with Alexander Schallenberg, Abbas Araghchi reviewed bilateral relations and mutual interests issues were discussed.
The meeting also discussed the latest status of the meeting of the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in Vienna.
Araghchi thanked the Austrian government for its efforts and hospitality and explained Iran's position in the Joint Commission and the need for the lifting of all sanctions and the practical steps that the US government must take to return to the agreement.
Schallenberg also stressed the Austrian government's readiness to provide the necessary facilities and make every effort to create a conducive atmosphere for the Vienna talks and noted that the JCPOA and its continuation would benefit all.
The Austrian deputy foreign minister and Iran's ambassador to Austria were also present at the meeting.
