Iran's volleyball team defeats Venezuela at Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Tokyo (IP) - The Iranian national volleyball team won the second match of the Olympic Games against Venezuela.

Iran PressAsia: In the second match of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the Iranian national volleyball team defeated the Venezuelans in straight sets (25-17, 25-20, 25-18) in Pool A of the 2020 Olympic Games.

The Iranian national team defeated strong Poland 3-2 (25-18, 22-25, 22-25, 25-22, 21-23) on Saturday. It was the longest volleyball match in the history of the Olympics, which lasted two hours and 37 minutes.

Venezuela lost 3-0 to Japan in their first game.
