Tehran (IP) - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, stating that good and sincere ties have always been established between Iran and Kenya, named Kenya as the gateway for the export of Iranian goods to the African continent.

Iran PressIran news: Hassan Rouhani, on Tuesday, while receiving the credentials of the new ambassador of Kenya in Tehran, stressed the development and deepening of relations between the two countries in various political, economic, scientific, and technological fields.

He said: "The two countries have good grounds for cooperation and development of bilateral relations, and these capacities should be used more."

He wished success to the new ambassador of Kenya in Tehran and expressed hope that during his mission in Iran, we would witness the development and strengthening of relations between the two countries.

Joshua Gatimo Aguta, the new Ambassador of Kenya in Tehran, while submitting his credentials to the President of Iran, called the relations between the two countries long and developing and said: "Improving the relations between the two countries is my most important goal as the representative of the Kenyan government in Iran."

The new ambassador of Kenya in Tehran added: "The two countries have good cooperation in various political, economic and scientific fields, and during my mission I will try to develop these relations more than before."
