Nairobi (IP) - Iran has delivered health and medical aid to the Ministry of Health of Kenya to combat the coronavirus.

Iran Press/Africa: Medical and health items donated by Iranian knowledge-based companies were presented to the Kenyan Ministry of Health in the presence of Jafar Barmaki, Iran's ambassador to Nairobi.

Donated items are ventilators, various disinfectants, COVID-19 test kits, and other essential items to fight the coronavirus, and some other medical and health goods.

"The items were produced by Iranian knowledge-based companies while the country was wrangling with the sanctions," the ambassador said.
