Tehran (IP) - The member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament stressed that by the intelligence, the foreign ministries, and other institutions of the country's pursuit, the perpetrators of the assassination of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh would be declared and punished in the immediate future.

Iran Press/Iran News: Condemning the Zionist regime's terrorist act, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the latest status of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh's assassination case, Shahriar Heidari said that it is expected the Zionist regime's crime condemned by countries such as the US and Europe which always claim to defend human rights using international capacities by imposing punitive measures on the regime.

Pointing out that the US only talks about political diplomacy, Heidari said not only have international communities not taken any measures to condemn the Israel terrorist act, but also they have backed the act in various forms.

Heidari added: "International communities were being questioned over their silence against terrorist acts while political circles, free groups, and nations condemned the move.

Highlighting that Martyr Fakhrizadeh's assassination case was divided into two intelligence and diplomatic groups, the MP stated that Iran's government is pursuing the Zionist regime's terrorist activities in both national and international dimensions by achieving promising results.

Intelligence bodies have also conducted significant follow-ups and will definitely in the immediate future the perpetrators will be punished, he underlined.

Expressing concerns over 'Human Rights' organization's silence against the Zionist regime's terrorist act, Heidari said: "Certainly if the terrorism acts are not prevented by international organisations, they will face consequences and any group or any movement can make sabotage anytime they intend," Shahriar Heidari said.

Martyr Fakhrizadeh's car was targeted by an explosion and machinegun fire in Damavand's Absard 40 kilometers to the East of Tehran on Friday 27 November 2020.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted on Sunday that the assassination bears all the hallmarks of the Israeli regime.

Early in 2018, the Israeli sources had acknowledged that Mossad had tried to assassinate an Iranian nuclear scientist, but its operation failed.
