The government in Kano state has banned Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasuru Kabara from involvement in religious and cultural activities at schools and considered his activities within the framework of the Shia school of thought.
Unconfirmed reports accuse Saudi Arabia of sending large sums of money to the local government of Kano state to halt the activities of Sheikh Abduljabbar with a thousand followers among Nigerian youth, local sources told an Iran Press correspondent in Nigeria.
