Iran Press/ Iran News: In a phone conversation with the president-elect of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, Mustafa Al-Kazemi emphasized joint cooperation in different fields, particularly in the economic, security, and counter-terrorism fields.
Raisi also thanked the Iraqi Prime Minister and noted the historical ties connecting the two countries and the aspirations of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop and boost cooperation in all areas.
Earlier, Iraqi President Barham Salih and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi congratulated the winning of the president-elect of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Some Iraqi sources quoted the Prime Minister's press office as saying that Raisi invited the Iraqi Prime Minister to travel to Iran at due time.
