Iran's health official:

Tehran (IP) - The spokesman for Iran's National Taskforce for Fighting Against Coronavirus said compliance with health protocols on election day was very satisfactory.

Iran PressIran news: Alireza Raisi, at a press conference on Saturday, described the latest situation of coronavirus in Iran, congratulating the participation of the people in the elections, and stated that the people observed the health protocols for coronavirus well on the day of the elections on June 18, 2021.

Raisi also said that the outbreak of coronavirus in some countries is still severe and this issue is still an alarm, noting that the overall COVID-19 trends in Iran are declining, but care must be taken because some southern and eastern provinces of Iran are still in serious condition.

He also referred to the latest situation of coronavirus adding that 22 cities are in red, 175 cities are in orange and 251 cities are in yellow coronavirus zones.
