Iran Press/ Iran news: Ali Rabiei, in his weekly press conference on Tuesday, in response to a question of Iran Press, on the government's latest measures to hold the 13th presidential election, stated that there were two approaches to vaccinate those who are in charge of holding the election and observing the health protocols at the polling stations to maintain voting safety and health.
The spokesman emphasized that according to the decree of the National Task Force for Fighting Against Coronavirus, holding campaign meetings in in-door places is prohibited.
The spokesman for the Iranian government also spoke about Canada's restrictions on Iranian participation in the election and the government's program, saying that the Canadian government did not allow the Iranian government to hold a direct presidential election to obtain votes from Iranian citizens living in the country, contrary to international custom.
Rabiei stated that in this regard, in coordination with the Interests Section of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the United States, one of the nearest US cities has been considered as a polling station for Iranian citizens living in Canada.
