Tehran (IP) - The candidate for the 13th presidential election said that negotiations only come to fruition when having the upper hand.

Iran PressIran news: Amir Hossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi in response to Iran Press on the 'Salute Administration' approach to the negotiations for the revival of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in Vienna added that the current administration was allowed to negotiate directly with the United States, but previous administrations were not allowed to do so, and the current administration wasted time in doing so.

The candidate for the 13th presidential election pointed out that negotiations would never come to fruition from a position of weakness, and that in order to be successful, negotiations must always be from a position of strength.

Ghazizadeh Hashemi said that Iran had many components of power inside and in the West Asian region and that security in the region was due to the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and that the Americans understood this power of Iran very well.

Stating that the components of power must be used properly, he candidate said that the next administration would soon and correctly conclude the negotiations for the revival of the JCPOA, serving Iranian’s interests.
