Tehran (IP) - A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament said that the nuclear talks in Vienna should not be attritional, and the opening offered by Iran to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would not be forever.

Iran PressIran news: Abbas Moghtadaei, in an interview with Iran Press on the phone, referring to the meeting of the members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission with the head of Iranian negotiating team, Abbas Araghchi, stated that a little progress had been made during the Vienna talks, but it is not enough.

Moghtadaei noted that the parliament had set red lines for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the reviving the JCPOA that should not be crossed. 

Moghtadaei stressed that in the current situation, the US must fulfill its obligations to the JCPOA since the US has not fulfilled its commitments, so Iran's interests have been undermined. 

He also expressed hope that Iran's rights will be secured and realized in the upcoming talks in Vienna. 

Abbas Araghchi, Political Deputy Foreign Minister and the head of the Iranian Negotiating team in the Vienna talks, briefed the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission members in parliament.
