Iran Press/ Asia: In a meeting with Iran's envoy to Afghanistan's Foreign Ministry, Bahador Aminian, the Afghan FM Mohammad Hanif Atmar said that Tehran has an important and valuable role in strengthening the regional consensus.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations in strengthening trade, investment, infrastructure within the existing mechanism, holding a joint economic commission, and finalizing a comprehensive cooperation document.
Aminian, for his part, pointed to the historical and cultural ties between Iran and Afghanistan assured the Afghan Foreign Minister of the continuation of Iran's support and cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields, especially peace talks that would lead to lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan.
