Defense Minister:

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Defense said on Wednesday that the demand of Iran's military and civilian sectors for foreign energy supply and all kinds of advanced storage facilities had come close to zero.

Iran PressIran news: At the opening ceremony of the production line of military and super-heavy batteries on Wednesday, Amir Hatami said that with the inauguration of these strategic projects, the storage facilities required by Iran's defense systems would be produced totally indigenously.

Brigadier General Amir Hatami added that the ministry's products and the production lines opened would be applied for all defense systems, including aircraft, helicopters, surface and submarine vessels, and smart ammunition. 

General Hatami highlighted the opening as an important step toward the armed forces' self-sufficiency and an ensuring capacity for supplying the energy of new systems and weapons.
