Iran Press/ Iran News: In an interview with Iran Press, Public Relations Manager of Iran Boxing Federation, Saeed Mirzaeian, stated: "So far, the Iranian national boxing team has won only one bronze medal in the last two rounds of the Asian Boxing Championships, coached by Akbar Ahadi and Cuban Fernandez Jimenez; but in this round, Iranian boxers are better prepared."
He noted that a difficult draw had been registered for six Iranian boxers, and the most important competitors of Iran would be Kazakh boxers.
Mirzaeian pointed out that Danial Shahbakhsh and Shahin Mousavi, two Olympic boxers, are part of the Iranian national boxing team.
103 boxers from different Asian countries are present in the men's section of the competitions.
