Another team was identified in Sistan and Baluchestan and terrorist acts were prevented by arresting them. The team, led by a criminal terrorist group based in Europe, sought terrorist acts at the provincial level and brutal explosions in religious places, to sow discord among Muslims.

From the evil ringleader of this terrorist team, who has a history of drug trafficking and murder behind, two sidearms and two Kalashnikov rifles were seized, along with some tools and materials for making bombs.

Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence warned terrorist groups that any action against the country's security would be met with a decisive and effective response. Countries that serve as the safe haven for the activities of these terrorist groups must also be held accountable for their terrorist acts.
