Iran Press/Iran News: According to IRGC public relations, the mercenaries who were going to carry out terrorist attacks in the country were observed and chased in West Azerbaijan province and finally arrested which they had not timed to react.
In the operation, large amounts of weapons, ammunition, and communication equipment were seized from the terrorists.
On Saturday, 14 November, the Public Relations of Hamzeh Seyyed Al-Shohada Base of the ground force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), announced the artillery attack of this force on the positions of terrorist groups in the Western Azarbaijan border region.
It has been announced in a statement that IRGC Ground Forces targeted the positions of counter-revolutionary terrorist groups across the northwestern borders of Iran, causing heavy losses to them.
Two days later, counter-revolutionary forces clashed with a number of border guards in the border areas of West Azerbaijan Province, northwestern Iran.
The Iranian border guards were able to prevent the terrorists from infiltrating the territory of Iran, but three border guards of the Islamic Republic of Iran were martyred in the clashes.
