Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 187 COVID patients had succumbed to death during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 78,381.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday, 2,823,887 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,319,746 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,005 cases, out of whom 1,175 patients were hospitalized.

4,945 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 18,810,335 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 8 cities are red, 233 are orange, and 207 are yellow zones.

So far, 2,478,936 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 451,721 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 2,930,657 doses.
