Tehran (IP) - In a telephone conversation, Iran and Kuwaiti parliament speakers described the killing of Palestinian women and children as a common pain of all Islamic countries.

Iran Press/Iran news: "The silence of the international community, humanitarian organizations, and the United Nations in the face of Zionist crimes is surprising," Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said in his call with his Kuwaiti counterpart Marzouq Al Ghanim.

In the wake of his telephone conversations with the speakers of the parliaments of Islamic countries, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf talked to the Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al Ghanim to discuss the recent crimes of the occupying regime in the Gaza Strip and Palestine.

Referring to the countless crimes of the Zionist regime in the shadow of US support, Qalibaf said: "The Islamic world does not tolerate silence in the face of oppression and massacre of Muslims and it is necessary for all Muslims to try harder than ever to remove the cancerous gland (Israel).

Marzouq Al Ghanim, for his part, called the recent events in the Gaza Strip and Palestine a crime against the Muslims of the region and emphasized: "The most horrible crimes against our Palestinian brothers are taking place, and maintaining the unity of all Muslim countries against the oppression and extravagance of the Zionists is a religious, human, Islamic and moral obligation."

"The Government and people of Kuwait agree to hold any meeting and parliamentary initiative in support of the Palestinian people," Marzouq Al Ghanim highlighted.
