Iran: 202 died of COVID-19 in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that in the past 24 hours, 202 people died of COVID-19, bringing the total death toll to 76,433.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 14, 2021, a number of 2,732,152 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,196,197 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,145 cases, out of whom 1,545 patients were hospitalized.

5,468 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 17,750,149 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 46 cities are red, 263 are orange, and 139 are yellow zones.

So far, 1,713,648 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 342,950 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 2,056,598 doses.
