Kabul (IP) - Islamic Republic of Iran's special envoy for Afghanistan has condemned the terrorist attack on a girls' school in the Afghan capital of Kabul.

Iran PressAsia: Mohammad Ebrahim Taherian, the Islamic Republic of Iran's special envoy for Afghanistan, condemned the terrorist attack on a girls' school in Kabul and said: "The solution for peace and security in Afghanistan is possible inside the country and with the understanding of all Afghan groups."

Taherian also extended his condolences of the government and people of Iran to the Muslim government and people of Afghanistan, and strongly condemned the brutal crime and terrorist attack on a girls' school in Kabul.

The Islamic Republic of Iran's special envoy for Afghanistan, who addressed a meeting of Shia and Sunni ulema and cultural figures at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Herat on Saturday, described the incident as a very sad and unfortunate event.

Taherian expressed hope to witness the end of the war and conflict in Afghanistan as soon as possible so that the Islamic Ummah and the people of Afghanistan would not witness such incidents and tragedies during the holy month of Ramadan.”

The Islamic Republic of Iran's special envoy for Afghanistan also said: "Iran has always tried to help establish an understanding, maintain achievements and develop stability by creating a national consensus in Afghanistan."

A bomb blast outside the Sayyid al-Shuhada school in western Kabul on Saturday killed and injured dozens of people, mostly girl students.
