Tehran (IP) – Head of Tehran's Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus said that the fifth step of the Martyr Soleimani's innovative plan to contain coronavirus had acted promisingly and should be a role model for others.

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at the ceremony for the implementation of the fifth step of Martyr Soleimani's plan focusing on treating coronavirus outpatients with Remdesivir and injecting vaccine on elders held at an open area next to Yaftabad Hospital, Alireza Zali stated that Martyr Soleimani had been a national hero and has had a special place among Iranians.

"Coronavirus is a novel and complex disease, so we have tried our best to implement the plan in the best possible way," he noted.

"In 18 weeks, Tehran and various provinces of Iran have reached a stable condition in the fourth step following the implementation of Martyr Soleimani's Plan, hopefully, it works well in the fifth step," he said.

He highlighted that Yaftabad Hospital contained two healthcare complexes with a brilliant performance to combat the disease; in one ward, volunteers get the jab and in the next complex, infected patients receive medical treatment.

"There are also educational and physical training saloons and the municipality of Tehran has provided crisis shelters," Zali pointed.

Yaftbad Hospital has high density and more populated but with the efforts of healthcare staff, this area's medical needs had been provided well.

Zali paid a visit to the implementation of the fifth step of Martyr Soleimani's plan aiming at commencing the treating of outpatients clinic with Remdesivir and vaccination of volunteers at Tehran on Wednesday.
