Hamedan (IP): The third phase of the clinical trial of the Iran-Cuba joint coronavirus vaccine had begun in Hamedan, western Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: The third phase of the clinical trial of the joint corona vaccine of the Pasteur Institute of Iran and the Finlay Institute of Cuba began on Saturday at Hamedan University of Medical Sciences to inject 3,000 volunteers.

The third phase of the clinical trial of the corona vaccine, jointly produced by Iran and Cuba, will be implemented with the participation of 24,000 volunteers in the cities of Hamedan, Isfahan, Bandar Abbas, Zanjan, Sari, Kerman, Babol, and Yazd.

Saeed Namaki, Minister of Health and Medical Education of Iran, said: "The Ministry of Health, relying on domestic production, has been able to start the third phase of the clinical trial of the Pasteur Institute vaccine in Iran by transferring technical knowledge from Cuba which is one of the most prestigious vaccines in the world."
