Sana'a (IP): The air force of the Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday waged an attack on King Khaled airbase in Khamis Mushait, Saudi Arabia, armed forces spokesman said.

Iran PressMiddle East: In his latest tweet, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e added the air force launched a Qasef-2k drone, targeting a military site at the airbase, confirming that the drone hit its target accurately.

He said the targeting comes within the framework of legitimate response to the aggression's escalation and an all-out siege on the Yemeni people.

The attacks coincide with the seventh anniversary of the aggression on Yemen by the Saudi-led coalition.

With the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, Saudi Arabia has launched a military invasion on Yemen since March 2015 and a land, sea, and air siege.
