Tehran (IP) - The Ambassador of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran considered the strengthening of bilateral relations, especially the taking of coordinated steps to develop border relations, as one of the important goals of the Pakistani Foreign Minister's visit to Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: On the eve of Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi's visit to Iran, Rahim Hayat Qureshi explained the aims and agenda of the visit during a speech at a virtual seminar on Monday.

Rahim Hayat Qureshi said: "Strengthening bilateral relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, examining the situation of common borders and finding useful solutions to improve living standards on both sides of the border is one of the most important goals of Qureshi's visit to Tehran."

"Pakistani Foreign Minister will go to Istanbul after Tehran to attend the Turkish conference on Afghan peace, so we believe we can have important consultations with Iranian brothers about Afghanistan during this visit," Qureshi said.
