Vienna (IP) - The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said that: "We are not looking for erosive negotiations at all if the negotiations go in the constructive direction that we expect, we will go on otherwise it will stop."

Iran PressEurope: Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs and head of the Iranian delegation participating in the Vienna talks Abbas Araghchi said in a statement before the JCPOA joint commission meeting: "We have had intensive consultations with the delegations over the past two days. Today we start again in a more formal way."

Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) parties kicks off in Vienna on Thursday, April 15, at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers and Political Directors of Iran and the P4 + 1 Group.

The Iranian diplomat said: "We hope the working groups will be set up as soon as possible, and we will go through the process."

"We have said again and again that we are not looking for erosive negotiations and negotiations for negotiations because it is just time-consuming," he said.

The 18th round of the JCPOA Joint Commission meetings was held virtually from April 2 with Iranian diplomats and the G4+1.

The representatives of the countries decided to continue the talks in person in Vienna.

Two working groups on lifting sanctions and nuclear measures are currently working on the necessary measures in parallel.

At Friday's meeting, members decided to resume talks in Vienna from Wednesday.

Iranian negotiating team headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Vienna, Austria, afternoon to resume talks with the JCPOA Joint Commission.
