White House Press secretary Jen Psaki said in her presser on Tuesday night that Iran's nuclear discussion in Vienna was happening through the US' European counterparts and partners.

Iran Press/America: Psaki added: " We expect them to have difficult portions. We expect this to be a long process. And we, you know, continue to believe that a diplomatic path is a right path forward, and there are benefits to all sides."

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Tuesday about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Joint Commission meeting in Vienna that the talks were technical and legal issues about how the United States and then Iran would implement the nuclear agreement.

He noted that there would be no negotiation about the JCPOA between Iran and the US, let alone other issues, adding that Iran was holding talks with the P4+1, clarifying the framework, and then the P4+1 would talk to the United States separately.

"How the P4+1 talks to the Americans have nothing to do with us. We took this opportunity to see a possible breakthrough for the revival of the JCPOA and the return of the United States to the agreement and the lifting of sanctions, and for Iran to return to its commitments after the verification," Araghchi said.
