Vienna (IP) – Iran's deputy foreign minister said there would be no negotiation about the JCPOA between Iran and the United States, let alone other issues.

Iran Press/Europe: About the JCPOA Joint Commission meeting in Vienna, Abbas Araghchi stated on Tuesday that the talks were technical and legal issues about how the United States and then Iran would implement the nuclear agreement.

He noted that there would be no negotiation about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) between Iran and the US, let alone other issues, adding that Iran was holding talks with the P4+1, clarifying the framework, and then the P4+1 would talk to the United States separately.

"How the P4+1 talks to the Americans have nothing to do with us. We took this opportunity to see a possible breakthrough for the revival of the JCPOA and the return of the United States to the agreement and the lifting of sanctions, and for Iran to return to its commitments after the verification," Araghchi said.

Regarding the implementation of the obligations, he underlined that Iran did not have "a step for a step" discussion at all, saying all needed to be done was one step which he called the "final state".
