Tehran (IP) - The spokesman for the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said the 'Iran–China 25-year Cooperation Document' is in the direction of maximum national interests.

Iran PressIran News: Abolfazl Amoui stated that the 'Iran–China 25-year Cooperation Document' was a roadmap that determined the areas of cooperation between the two countries for the next 25 years.

"The document is not binding and is considered a political one," he noted.

He pointed out that the parliament's general view was that relations between Iran and different countries should be developed.

The 25-year Comprehensive Document on the Iran-China Strategic Partnership was inked on Saturday, March 26, and finalized on Sunday, March 27, in the meeting between Iranian and Chinese Foreign Ministers in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
