Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament said there was neither a roadmap for the US' return to the JCPOA nor the idea of 'step-for-step return' to the agreement, emphasizing that the sanctions imposed on Iran must be totally lifted.

Iran PressIran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency on Sunday, Abolfazl Amouei stressed that Iran did not currently recognize the US as a member of the internationally signed Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), since it illegally withdrew from the agreement.

He noted the Tuesday's talks in Vienna would be held between Iran and the P4+1 and without the participation of the US.

Still, Amouei pointed out that the US did not fulfill its commitments to the JCPOA and violated the UN Security Council's Resolution 2231.

The Spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament noted that Iran would only return to its JCPOA commitment after the verification of lifting all sanctions.
