"The participants paid special attention to the measures that should be taken by the United States to eliminate previously committed violations of the JCPOA and to lift its sanctions against Iran," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
The 18th Joint Commission meeting of the JCPOA on Friday was chaired on behalf of EU High Representative Josep Borrell by the Deputy Secretary-General and Political Director of the European External Action Service Enrique Mora, and Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
At the meeting, participants discussed the prospect of the United States returning to JCPOA and ensuring that the agreement is fully and effectively implemented by all parties.
The next meeting of the Joint Commission with the presence of representatives of member countries is scheduled to be held on April 6 (Farvardinl 17).
