Tehran (IP) - Iranian foreign minister stated that the purpose of the next meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission would be to rapidly finalize the lifting of sanctions and nuclear measures, noting that any meeting between Iran and the US is unnecessary.

Iran Press/Iran News: In his Twitter account, Mohammad-Javad Zarif stated that at the virtual JCPOA Joint Commission meeting, Iran and the EU (E3+2) agreed to resume in-person talks in Vienna next Tuesday.

He pointed out that the meeting would aim to rapidly finalize sanctions-lifting and nuclear measures for choreographed removal of all sanctions, followed by Iran ceasing remedial measures.

"No Iran-US meeting. Unnecessary," he added.
