Iran Press/ Iran News: Describing the situation of coronavirus in the country, the Deputy Health Minister Alireza Raeisi said in a press conference on Saturday that the COVID-19 disease is on the rise in the country and that the British variant virus had spread to almost all provinces.
The spokesman said: "Nowruz holiday caused the situation of the coronavirus to worsen in the country and some provinces entered a new peak and wave of the disease."
Raeisi stated that Alborz and Ilam provinces entered the fourth wave of disease, adding that Mazandaran, Gilan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Markazi, and Lorestan provinces are also on the verge of entering a new wave.
"47 cities in are red and 126 are orange, and the number of yellow cities has reached 247 and only 14 are blue," the spokesman added.
He also urged those who traveled on holidays not to attend parties to prevent more spreading of the virus.
