Tehran (IP) – The fifth consignment of the 'Sputnik V' COVID-19 vaccine entered Iran from Russia on Thursday.

Iran PressIran News: So far, 410,000 doses of vaccine had been dispatched from Russia to Iran, and taking the fifth consignment into account, the total number of vaccines sent to Iran exceeds half a million doses.

The Russian Sputnik V has been approved in 57 countries. According to research, the vaccine has an efficacy of 91.6% and, it is effective against variants of the virus.
