Afghanistan (IP) - Bomb blasts in Afghanistan's Balkh and Taleqan cities have killed three people, wounding 16 others.

Iran Press/Asia: 2 civilians, including a child, were killed and 16 others (three of them soldiers), were wounded when a bomb planted in a cart exploded in Balkh Bazaar this afternoon (Wednesday).

According to Takhar police, Mawlawi Abdul Samad, head of the Takhar Province’s Ulema Council, was also killed by a bomb planted in his car this afternoon. Three other people were injured in the blast.
