COVID-19 claims 81 lives in Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Friday that in the past 24 hours, 81 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 62,223.

Iran PressIran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 26, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,980 cases out of whom 965 patients were hospitalized," Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,838,803 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,577,408 recovered.

3,908 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

"So far, 12,481,917 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 17 cities are in red, and 42 are in orange zones.
