Tehran (IP) - The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said that the signing of the Iran-China Strategic Partnership Document was in line with a balanced and economically-oriented foreign policy.

Iran PressIran News: In a Sunday tweet, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said the signing of the Iran-China strategic partnership document was an important component of empowerment about Asia and Eurasia regions and with a balanced and economically-oriented foreign policy.

"Unfortunately, important opportunities have been missed to date, and now the transformation of the strategic document into strategic cooperation requires a serious will to bring economic benefits to the dear nation of Iran," Ghalibaf wrote.

During a ceremony on Saturday, March 27, 2021, the Iranian and the Chinese Foreign Ministers, Mohammad Javad Zarif, and Wang Yi, signed a 25-year comprehensive document on the Iran-China strategic partnership.
